My professor would like to teach us the Sony Noise Reduction plug-in with. SONY Sound Forge Pro v10.0c + Noise Reduction Sound Forge Pro 10 software efficiently and reliably provides audio editors and producers complete control over.
This is a big bug in SF 10 and if Noise Reduction is important to you I would suggest you wait until they fix this before you upgrade.

So it's a catch-22 - you can't use the Noise Reduction stuff that's 'in there' but you can't install it from the outside or you need a serial number. Only by downloading and installing the Noise Reduction 2.0 plugin from this site can I get around that - but THEN I get asked for a serial number. Oh, it's IN there all right, but it's grayed out and you can't select it even if you have any audio file open. Sony replied 'Hey, it's already in SF 10.0'. I'll update this myself - I still need an answer but this might help some other poor soul out there. Am I screwed for at least the next month (by which time someone at Sony will finally answer their phone)? Posts: 532 Joined: Tue 1:18 am. I downloaded it from the site but I need a serial number to install and my SF 10 SN doesn't work. I bought SF 10 online and downloaded it - I got a serial number for it and for the ixotrope (sp?) plugins but nothing for the Sound Reduction 2.0 stuff, although it says it comes with SF.
